About Me
AI systems architect from Bern
I'm Nicolas Schmid. I spent years as a cloud and data-platform architect — then coding agents changed the job. They write the boring 80% faster than any human; the last 20% — architecture, tests, review, software that actually sells — is where the real work moved. I build the bridge between that AI speed and 20 years of software craft.
I'm the creator of anvil-coder (tickets to shipped code via 58+ AI agents), author of multiple German audiobooks on AI engineering, and a contributor to HelloDATA, the open-source enterprise data platform. The commercial work runs through my Swiss workshop, Halvic Labs.
